Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: May 25, 2026. This Acceptable Use Policy explains what is not allowed when using Sheetlane. Following these rules keeps Sheetlane safe for everyone and keeps your account in good standing.
1. Illegal or harmful activity
You may not use Sheetlane to violate laws, regulations, third-party rights, platform rules, or contractual obligations.
2. Spam and abusive messaging
You may not use Sheetlane to send spam, unlawful marketing messages, deceptive outreach, phishing, harassment, threats, or messages that violate applicable email, SMS, social platform, or anti-spam rules.
3. Misuse of integrations
You may not connect accounts you do not own or control, exceed authorized access, bypass third-party platform limits, or use integrations in ways prohibited by the relevant provider.
4. Security abuse
You may not probe, scan, attack, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, bypass authentication, exploit vulnerabilities, distribute malware, or interfere with Sheetlane or third-party services.
5. Sensitive and regulated use
You may not use Sheetlane for high-risk decisions or regulated uses unless you have appropriate legal authority, controls, and a written agreement with Sheetlane. This includes medical decisions, legal decisions, lending decisions, employment eligibility decisions, insurance decisions, or safety-critical operations.
6. Prohibited content
You may not use Sheetlane to create, store, process, or distribute content that is unlawful, exploitative, abusive, hateful, invasive, infringing, deceptive, malicious, or otherwise harmful.
7. Data rights
You may not upload, process, enrich, or transmit data unless you have the rights, permissions, notices, and consents required by applicable law and third-party terms.
8. Enforcement
We may remove content, limit usage, suspend workflows, revoke access, or terminate accounts that violate this policy.
