Security Practices
Last updated: May 25, 2026. Security is central to workflows that connect data, AI, integrations, and external actions. This page summarizes Sheetlane's security practices and what we expect from workspace admins.
1. Workspace access
Sheetlane workspaces support role-based access such as owner, admin, editor, viewer, and billing admin. Workspace owners and admins are responsible for inviting the right users and assigning appropriate roles.
2. Authentication
Sheetlane supports account authentication through configured sign-in methods. Users should protect their accounts and immediately report unauthorized access.
3. Integration controls
Connected integrations may access external services based on permissions granted by the user or workspace. Admins should enable only the integrations required for their workflows.
4. Action safeguards
Sheetlane workflow execution includes the following controls so that mistakes are caught before they cause damage.
- Dry-run mode
- Approval flows
- Bulk-send guards
- Rate limits
- Workspace quotas
- Execution history
- Idempotency protection
- Audit logs
5. Logging and monitoring
Sheetlane records activity and execution logs to support reliability, debugging, auditability, and user visibility.
6. Data protection
Sheetlane uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect customer data. Customers should avoid uploading unnecessary sensitive data and should configure access carefully.
7. Responsible disclosure
Report security concerns to hello@sheetlane.com.
