Terms of Use

By accessing or using Sheetlane (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Sheetlane.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

• You must create an account using a valid email address via Google OAuth.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Send unsolicited communications, spam, or harassing content via Action Columns or any other feature.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or related systems.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Service.
• Use the Service to generate or distribute content that infringes intellectual property rights, defames, harasses, or violates the privacy of others.
• Bypass any rate limits, quotas, or technical restrictions.
• Use the Service to train competing artificial intelligence models.

You retain all rights to the data, prompts, files, and content you create or upload to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and your collaborators.

You are solely responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of Your Content. You represent that you have all necessary rights to upload and process Your Content through the Service.

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate text, images, and other outputs based on your prompts. AI outputs may be inaccurate, biased, or otherwise unsuitable for certain uses. You are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them or sharing them with third parties. Sheetlane makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of AI outputs.

When you connect a third-party service or trigger an Action Column, you authorize Sheetlane to perform the actions you configure on your behalf. You are solely responsible for the consequences of those actions, including any emails sent, records created, or messages posted. We provide approval workflows, dry-run modes, and audit logs to help you operate safely.

• The Service offers free and paid tiers. Pricing is shown on our pricing page and may be updated from time to time.
• Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with unpaid invoices.

The Service, including its design, code, and documentation, is the property of Sheetlane and its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use any of our trademarks or trade dress without our prior written consent.

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if your use of the Service is disruptive to others. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHEETLANE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sheetlane and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
